THE CHAPEL ANTIOCH STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. **GOD:** We wholeheartedly believe in One God, the magnificent Creator of all that exists. He is the first person of the glorious triune Godhead, who lovingly crafted our universe. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-3)

2. **JESUS:** We confidently affirm that Jesus Christ is the beloved Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, sent to be our Savior. His journey culminated in His crucifixion, but He triumphed over death, rising three days later in an awe-inspiring display of power. Jesus reigns with all authority over creation and sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding daily for us. He is the second person of the triune Godhead, and His love for humanity is boundless. (Matthew 1:18-25, Mark 1:1, Luke 24:44-53, John 17:5)

3. **THE HOLY SPIRIT:** We joyfully acknowledge that the Holy Spirit was sent by Christ to be our Comforter. He guides us toward righteousness in a complicated world, helping us shine as beacons of hope and joy. The Holy Spirit not only convicts hearts of sin but also leads us on fulfilling paths of righteousness. He is the third person of the triune Godhead, playing a vital role in our spiritual journeys. (John 14:25-27)

4. **THE HOLY TRINITY:** We joyfully believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are beautifully united as one God. This incredible mystery of the Holy Trinity showcases His nature and His relationship with us. (1 John 5:7)

5. **THE BIBLE:** We treasure the Bible as the infallible written word of God, an extraordinary gift to humanity. Each scripture is inspired by God and provides immense value for teaching, correction, and guidance in living a righteous life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

6. **SALVATION:** We are excited to share that salvation is a precious gift from God the Father, made possible through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. His sacrificial blood was shed on Calvary’s cross, and He conquered death to offer eternal life to everyone who places their faith in Him. What an incredible promise for all! (Romans 5:6-21)

7. **HOLY COMMUNION & BAPTISM:** We celebrate the sacred sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, a meaningful experience that brings life to those who partake with a repentant heart. We encourage regular communion as a beautiful reminder of Christ’s sacrifice. Additionally, we believe that water baptism represents the full immersion of one’s body, symbolizing a powerful new birth into the family of God, leaving behind the old sin nature. (Luke 22:16-22, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30)

8. **ETERNITY:** We hold a hopeful belief in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will joyfully experience everlasting life with God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the gloriousness of Heaven. Conversely, those who reject this gift will face eternal separation. Yet, we remain hopeful, always reaching out to share the love of Christ with everyone. (John 5:28-29)

9. **MARRIAGE:** We cherish marriage as a divine gift from God, established from the beginning of creation and extending through eternity. Biblical marriage involves one man and one woman, devoted to filling the earth with godly children and enriching the family of God. It’s a beautiful partnership that reflects the love and unity of the divine. (Genesis 2:18-25)
